How to Use a Ratchet Buckle (Industrial/Tie-Down)
Thread the Strap: Ensure the buckle is in the closed position with the cylinder slot facing outward. Feed the strap through the slot from the bottom.
Remove Slack: Draw the strap across the spool until it sits tightly against the cargo.
Tension: Rock the lever to and fro; internal gears engage the strap for step-by-step tensioning.
Lock: Once tight, push the handle down into the fully closed position to lock the tension.
Release: To undo, pull the spring-loaded release lever on the handle and rotate the handle 180 degrees until it clicks open, then pull the webbing out.
