How to Use a Ratchet Buckle (Industrial/Tie-Down)
Thread the Strap: Ensure the buckle is in the closed position with the cylinder slot facing outward. Feed the strap through the slot from the bottom.
Remove Slack: Pull the strap through the reel until it is snug against the load.
Tension: Crank the handle back and forth. The internal gears will catch the strap and tighten it incrementally.
Lock: After achieving proper tension, press the lever all the way down to its closed position to hold the tension securely.
Release: To loosen, pull the spring release lever, rotate it 180 degrees until it unlocks, then draw out the webbing.
