How to Use a Ratchet Buckle (Industrial/Tie-Down)
Thread the Strap: Ensure the buckle is in the closed position with the cylinder slot facing outward. Feed the strap through the slot from the bottom.
Remove Slack: Pull the strap through the reel until it is snug against the load.
Tension: Swing the lever backward and forward. Built-in gear components grip the webbing to achieve gradual tension buildup.
Lock: Once sufficiently taut, lower the lever all the way to secure the tension.
Release: To undo, pull the spring-loaded release lever on the handle and rotate the handle 180 degrees until it clicks open, then pull the webbing out.
