How to Use a Ratchet Buckle (Industrial/Tie-Down)
Thread the Strap: Ensure the buckle is in the closed position with the cylinder slot facing outward. Feed the strap through the slot from the bottom.
Remove Slack: Pull the strap through the reel until it is snug against the load.
Tension: Crank the handle back and forth. The internal gears will catch the strap and tighten it incrementally.
Lock: After achieving proper tightness, fold the lever fully downward to hold the tension steadily.
Release: For removal, tug the spring release tab on the lever, swivel it 180° until latched open, then extract the webbing.
